In late September, Rachel, Eliza, and I went to Vermont to visit our friends and to take part in our annual apple picking and applesauce making weekend. We went to Burrt’s Apple Orchard in Cabot. We also did a little sightseeing and drove to Victory Bog, and explored the stream in the woods at our friend’s house. We also visited a remote farm stand on Kirby Mountain. On the way back to Maine, we stopped at a nice playground in Gorham, New Hampshire, which Eliza really enjoyed.
