On a late July afternoon, we went for a hike to the top of French Mountain in Rome. The hike is pretty short and not too steep, which makes it great for kids. The view at the top is very picturesque too. We were excited to see several Hawks flying around, and on the way down, we saw at least five Turkey Vultures sitting in a tall pine tree.
