Rachel and I went for a short hike out to Squirrel Point Light. The lighthouse is located on the Kennebec River, in Arrowsic, Maine, and can be reached only by hiking 2/3 of a mile on a well maintained trail. It was fun to see the lighthouse and explore the grounds along the shoreline of the river. There is currently a restoration effort underway for the lighthouse and the other buildings.
