On a sunny July afternoon, we went for a short hike to Bald Ledge in Porter. This hike has been one of our favorite family hikes for the past few years, and we have tried to do it at least once a year. The kids enjoyed looking for the turtle trail markers, and we also saw several toads along the way. The view from the top was peaceful and scenic with the view of Colcord Pond below.
