On one of our last days off in August, we had a picnic lunch at Peaks-Kenny State Park in Dover-Foxcroft. It was a beautiful summer day, so we also had fun splashing around in the lake. The warm water got deeper very gradually, which made it a perfect place for Eliza to have fun playing in the water. The park has a lot of picnic tables, some of which are humorously placed in between boulders and trees. We found one with a nice view of the beach, lake, and Borestone Mountain in the distance. We are hoping to camp at the park in the future. To finish off the roll, I took a few photos of a butterfly and leaves in the yard.
