Near the end of June, we went camping for a week at Half Moon Pond State Park in Hubbardton, Vermont for a second year. After staying there last year, we were eager to return for another week this year. We had a different campsite on the shore of Half Moon Pond. We enjoyed hearing the bullfrogs at night, and seeing fish swimming in the pond during the day. Eliza and Lindsey enjoyed playing in the shallow water right at our campsite. We had very good weather, with only a little rain later in the week. The first couple days were very hot though. We spent time visiting with family, and our friend Alison came and camped at the site next to ours with her two dogs for a couple nights. It was a memorable week, and we hope to return to Half Moon Pond in the future.
