We drove up to Rockland for the day to take a look at the historic roundhouse and turntable, and to take a walk on the boardwalk. The roundhouse and turntable are among the very few still in existence in Maine. We had a nice walk along the boardwalk, which offers nice views of Rockland Harbor. It ends near the end of the Rockland Branch of the railroad, where there is a sculpture made of old railroad spikes.
