Rachel and I went to Acadia National Park on for a weekend in early September. We try to visit the park at least once a year. We were lucky to have nice weather. We went for a long loop hike to the summit of Parkman Mountain, which included hiking on some very steep slopes, and also along one of the carriage roads. The next day, we went for a walk around Lower Hadlock Pond, which was a very enjoyable trail. We also drove down Sargent Drive, stopped by Jordan Pond, and drove around the Park Loop Road. I took a few photos near the Otter Cliffs, to show off the pink granite that is so common in Acadia, and stopped by Little Hunter’s Beach.
