On a few days off in November, Eliza and I went to see the Amtrak Downeaster pass through Freeport and Brunswick from several different viewpoints. We also found some old crossing signs and railroad signals, visited the Grand Trunk Railroad Depot in Yarmouth, and stopped by Yarmouth Junction and Danville Junction. It was fun to look for different railroad related subjects in the area, and I learned a little about the history of Maine railroading as well.
