Rachel, Eliza, and I went for a nice winter walk around the trails at the Falmouth River Point Conservation Area. The trails make a loop of over a mile, and they wind through fields and woods, and along the Presumpscot River. There are also several bridges on the trail, one that crosses over the railroad track from the Hannaford parking lot, and another that crosses the river. The weather was mild for January, and there was little to no snow on the ground. I found some patches of ice that had interesting patterns, textures, and frozen bubbles in them. Eliza had an enjoyable time too, and walked most of the way herself.
