Eliza and I went for another springtime walk at Royal River Park in Yarmouth. I brought along my Minolta XG-M with a roll of Ilford SFX 200 film and a Tiffen #25 Red Filter. I had read that using an even darker red filter would work best for taking advantage of Ilford SFX’s near-infrared capabilities, but I only have the #25 filter, so that’s what I used. I was pleased with the results I got with this combination, with the green foliage appearing light, and blue skies appearing darker. It was a fun roll of film to play around with, especially with the variety of scenery Royal River Park has to offer.
