In early June, we went with my Dad to the Cumberland Fairgrounds for an engine show with the Maine Antique Power Association. Along with the engine show, the Cumberland Fairgrounds was also celebrating its 150th anniversary. They had other events and family activities going on, along with some good food. I enjoyed walking around the engine show and taking some close-up shots of some of the engines and tractors that were on display. I brought along a roll of Svema Foto 400 film, since it was a bright, but overcast day. It was a tricky film to work with, since the film is super thin, and it was more difficult to load onto the developing reels. I also found that the emulsion can scratch easily. However, it was a very easy film to scan, and I was very impressed with the detail and fine grain. I have several other rolls of Svema film in other ISOs that I will be trying out soon.
