We went to Bradbury Mountain in Pownal to go for a hike on the trails. There are a variety of trails that make loops of different lengths and difficulties, and they all meet at the summit viewpoint of Bradbury Mountain. We took the Northern Loop Trail which is a 1.5 mile trail that gradually climbs to the viewpoint. On the way down, we took the shorter and steeper Switchback Trail, which passed an old Feldspar Quarry. At the summit, there is a new sign board with information about Hawks and other birds that are often seen from the mountain.
