We went camping for five nights at Peaks-Kenny State Park in late August. We were lucky to have mostly good weather, except for one rainy day. We spent a lot of time on the beach on Sebec Lake. This year, Rachel had her paddle board and I had an inflatable kayak that we used to explore a bit more of the lake. We found several secluded sandy beaches with interesting rocks for the kids to explore.
