On a sunny summer day off, Rachel, Eliza, and I went for a drive through Pinkham Notch and Crawford Notch in New Hampshire. In Crawford Notch, we stopped at the Willey House and had a picnic at one of the picnic tables up on a hillside that overlooked Route 302 and provided nice views of some of the nearby mountains. After lunch, we walked across the bridge over the Willey House Dam and enjoyed the scenery around Willey Pond. We also saw a lot of ducks, including a few babies. We drove as far as the Mount Washington Hotel, and then headed back through Crawford Notch and Pinkham Notch. It was fun to take in the mountain scenery.
