I took Eliza for a walk to Pettengill Farm in Freeport. A dirt road through the woods leads to the saltbox farm house which was built in the early 1800s. There are also several out buildings. There are also several other trails through the woods on the property, and some views of the nearby marshes. Walking out to Pettengill Farm feels a bit like stepping back in time.
