On July 4th, we went to the parade in Freeport, and then drove to Waterford to go for a hike up Hawk Mountain. It is one of our favorite hikes, because it isn’t too long and it has a nice view. It is a great hike for the kids too. Someone had put an American Flag at the summit, which made a nice subject for one of my photos. We also stopped at the Bolsters Mills Country Store for a quick stop and to get some drinks. It was a beautiful day for a hike, and a great day to spend with family.
