Biking the Androscoggin River Path, Railroad Relics, and Bailey’s Island

We went for a nice bike ride along the Androscoggin River Path in Brunswick. The paved path follows the river for almost 3 miles, and also runs parallel to Route 1. There are some nice views of the river along the way. After our ride, I wanted to take a photo or two of an old railroad signal on an unused rail line in Topsham. I also took a couple photos of the tracks in Brunswick, and a big railroad trestle that crosses the Androscoggin River. Later in the day, we went for a scenic drive down to Bailey’s Island.
