We drove up to Rockport for the day to hike to Spruce Mountain. We followed the trail, which is part of the Georges Highland Path. Spruce Mountain has two peaks, with a total of three viewpoints. We went to the East Peak, and stopped at two viewpoints. It was a really nice gradual climb most of the way, with the only steep sections being right before and after the first rocky viewpoint. There were nice views of the surrounding mountains and lakes, and the ocean.
