Uncle Ritchey gave me his Minolta Maxxum 7000, since he knew I enjoyed photography, and he wasn’t using the camera anymore. For my first time using it, I decided to take it with us when my wife, Rachel, and I went on a day trip to Rangeley. I felt that this would be a special place to try it, since Uncle Ritchey used to go to Rangeley every winter to go snowmobiling. Rachel and I stopped at several scenic locations incluing Coos Canyon, The Height of Land which overlooks Lake Mooselookmeguntic, Quill Hill, and Smalls Falls. I also took a couple photos at Winslow Park in Freeport. It was fun trying out the camera, and it was exciting to get the photos back once I had them developed and scanned.
