We went for a short hike to the top of French Mountain in Rome. There were nice views of some of the lakes in the Belgrade area. A few days later, we took a couple friends to Vaughan Woods in Hallowell to walk around the trails. There are several stone bridges and waterfalls there, which have help the place earn the nickname “Hobbitland.”
