During my August vacation, we took a day trip to Mount Blue State Park. We went to Center Hill, and went for a short hike around the loop trail near the top of the hill. It winds through the woods, and has several very scenic overlooks of the surrounding area, including Mount Blue and Webb Lake. Later, we drove to Webb Lake Beach, where Eliza enjoyed splashing in the water. The view of Mount Blue across Webb Lake from the beach was really nice. The dark and ominous looking clouds in the area also looked interesting, and luckily, it did not rain while we were there. We also drove through the campground to see the many campsites that are available in the park. It was a really fun day.
