Walking Around Yarmouth with a Kodak Junior Six-20

I took Eliza for a walk around Yarmouth and the Royal River Park. I brought along a Kodak Junior Six-20 camera that was found in my sister’s attic. It has been on display on my camera shelf for a few years, and I had been wanting to give it a try. It uses 620 film, which is no longer made. However, it can take 120 film by re-rolling the film onto an old 620 spool, or trimming and filing the edges of the 120 spool to fit. I found that with this camera, it would have worked better to re-roll the film onto a 620 spool, because the fit with the 120 spool was a little tight, and it was difficult to advance the film smoothly. I think that it was also the reason that there are many small horizontal streaks on the negatives. I could see some dirt on one of the rollers, and I think the negatives got scratched a little bit. I also made a little mistake loading the film, which caused a light leak on one of the photos. It was a fun camera to try, and I think I will try it again sometime.
