A Hike to the Top of Mount Tire’m and the Bear Caves

We took Eliza and Lindsey on a hike up Mount Tire’m in Waterford. The hike is fairly short, at about 0.6 miles each way, but it is steep for most of it. There is a nice view of the area near the summit, and some interesting “Bear Caves” near the true summit. Eliza had fun crawling through the caves and squeezing between the massive rocks of the glacial erratic. The scenic views were pretty, and the weather was nice, which has been a rarity this summer.
