During the April school vacation week, we went for a drive up to Rockport for the day. Our plan was to go for a walk up Beech Hill in Rockport and to do some sightseeing. When we left Freeport, the weather was partly cloudy, but as we approached Rockport, it started to rain a little, and as the tempertaure dropped, it changed to a snow squal. We decided to go for the walk anyway, and just as we were starting out on the trail, the snow stopped and the skies cleared. We had a nice walk to the stone Beech Nut house at the top, and the kids enjoyed playing around it. When we got back to the car and were starting to drive away, the snow started up again briefly.
