On an early February day, I stopped near the railroad crossing on Hunter Road in Freeport and waited for the southbound Amtrak Downeaster to pass by. There had been a little bit of snow the previous day, and some of it was still sticking to the branches of the nearby trees. I took several photos of the train as it approached and passed by.
