We went for a hike to the Glassface Ledges in Rumford. The trail starts behind a cemetery near a church. From there, it climbs gradually at first, before becoming more steep near the ledges. The view at the top is of the Androscoggin River Valley as it winds through the Rumford area. We really enjoyed the view, although it was a hot and humid day for a hike. Back at the parking area, there was a boat launch with a nice view of the river.
