Taking the Trail to Timber Point

Rachel, Eliza, and I went for a short walk to Timber Point in Biddeford. The trail is mostly a narrow dirt road that runs from a small parking area near a beach to a rocky point with tidal beaches. There is also a rocky sandbar that is exposed at low tide which connects to a nearby island. Timber Point, which is part of the Rachel Carson Wildlife Refuge, is also the site of an old estate house. We enjoyed the views of the nearby shoreline, the rocks, and the views of the beaches. We also saw several people riding horses on the beach.
